Founded as a countywide effort with a strategic plan to fill and maintain food pantries throughout Broward County, The South Florida Hunger Coalition, is in principal and practice a partnership in itself. While coordinating the efforts of more than 75 agencies in Broward County, The South Florida Hunger Coalition rallies community partners to engage in working towards reducing hunger in Broward County. 

Our partners make invaluable contributions in many different ways. They donate food, funds and other valuable resources. They contribute transportation and other services-in-kind. They help build awareness of the problem of hunger in Broward County and beyond. They work with us to end the stigma associated with using food banks - and, in the long run, to reduce hunger in our community
