MONTHLY GIFTS
Hunger doesn’t just exist at the holidays or the days leading to April 15. It is a 365-day challenge to assure that those in need have food available to them. Some people and organizations are choosing to make a monthly donation to South Florida Hunger Coalition. The monthly gift can be made through a credit card or through an automatic transfer from a checking account. By helping us once a month, we can help hungry people every day.
MATCHING GIFT PROGRAMS
Many companies have matching gifts programs where they will match their employees’ charitable donations. So you can double or even triple your gift through these programs. Please check with your company’s Finance or Human Resources Office to see if there is such a matching gifts program is available to you.
GIFTS OF PROPERTY
It is possible for you to give property – real estate or personal (like boats, cars, jewelry, etc.) – to South Florida Hunger Coalition. Please check with your financial/tax advisor to see if this giving option could benefit you.
BEQUEST
You can have an impact on feeding the hungry in South Florida for years to come through a bequest in your will or estate plan to the South Florida Hunger Coalition.
GIFTS OF FOOD
Support from local suppliers provides our agencies needed food and grocery products while reducing food industry waste. All local donations are transported and handled according to food safety standards by the agencies qualified staff. Donors can be assured that South Florida Hunger CoalitionFood Banks adheres to national standards and inventory control systems while insuring that their donation is reaching qualified food assistance programs.
HOST A FUNDRAISING EVENT OR FOOD DRIVE
Food drives and events are easy, fun and rewarding for a group or individual. Contact us to assist you with materials and information you may require to host an event to benefit South Florida Hunger Coalition member agencies.
